- advice and sharing best practice in using ICT across the curriculum.
Having described a vision of how teachers, pupils, parents and other Education Services staff are likely to use technology in the future, the programme will take forward the key components identified to enable the realisation of the vision and benefits. |

Effective Learning Pupils will be provided with increased choice, convenience and personalisation to suit their needs. This incorporates Objectives 4 and 5 of ICT in Education (Scottish Government). |
|
Effective Systems Implementing new systems and looking at current systems to provide schools with the most efficient and cost effective systems to meet the needs of all users and learners. This incorporates Objective 5 of ICT in Education (Scottish Government). |
Harnessing Technology The Education Service will enhance learning and teaching experiences by looking at new technologies (both mainstream and specialist) and applying them to learning contexts. This incorporates all five Objectives of ICT in Education (Scottish Government) in particular Objective 5. |
