Internet Policy / Web Filtering
Web Filtering is present on
all school system connected
to the Fife network.
The Fife Education Internet Policy has separate documents on:
- Acceptable Use of ICT Policy (secondary pupils)
- Internet Safety Rules: a poster for primary schools
- Parents Leaflet
which are located on the Internet Safety pages of the Fife Learning and Teaching website.

Fife has its own dedicated Fife Child Protection web site.
An excellent site on Internet Safety resources is the Know It All series located on the Childnet site and sponsored by a number of national organisations. It includes online resources, a DVD and 4 sections aimed at parents/carers, secondary schools, primary schools and trainee teachers.
