Why was this work undertaken?
|
To use ICT as a concrete support/resource to enable less able achievers
to fully access a technology task.
Through pupils' interest in Bauplay and how it could be linked,
developed and incorporated into our new environmental Studies Programme.
|
What was the impact on pupils' learning?
|
It allowed our less able achievers to manipulate the designs, and
in turn, fully explore the design process. The software acted as
a scaffold so the pupils could access the process independently.
|
What was the impact of teaching strategies?
|
Wider opportunities for the use of higher order questions; for
varieties of interaction and allowing pupils to utilise their own
learning strategies within a context.
