A diverse range of high quality products using a variety of hardware, peripherals and software.

This is an excellent, eye-catching display of class work, utilising the school's new computer suite where all pupils have timetabled access to computers and peripherals.


Why was this work undertaken?
An Enterprise project was undertaken to enhance PSD by promoting independent learning and collaborative group work. To develop Knowledge & Understanding skills within the school 's Environmental Studies programme.

 

How was it developed?
The Rocket Theatre Company was formed and each child was appointed to a business team. Each "team" utilised a wide range of ICT skills allowing them to carry out their role within the company.

 

What was the impact on pupils' learning?
Pupils were highly motivated by the professional results ICT enabled them to achieve. This enhanced their self-esteem. It contributed to raised attainment within ICT.

 

What was the impact of teaching strategies?
Children were encouraged to make independent choices about their use of ICT.

Computer Suite, Video, Word, Microsoft Publisher, Scanner, Digital Camera, Print Artist, Excel, PowerPoint and a Data Projector.
