Why was this work undertaken?
|
1. After an HMI inspection there was a need to raise attainment.
2. There was an opportunity for funding through New Community Schools.
We identified that using ICT would facilitate this need.

| It is still in its pilot phase (first 12 weeks) after initial training.
This is monitored closely and will then be opened out to all other
primary stages (currently P3 and P6 only). |

What was the impact on pupils' learning?

| Already we are finding our pupils to be more focused, self-motivated
learners enjoying key areas of the curriculum |

What was the impact of teaching strategies?
|
| Purely from a monitoring point of view this will be easy to self
manage and deliver. Teacher intervention does occur but very infrequently. |

and Skills / Initial Reader / Reading Workshop / Reading Readiness
/ Reading Adventures / Spelling (skills based). |
