Council Framework Agreements

Desktop and laptop PCs, printers, digital cameras, and scanners are part of a Fife Council framework agreement with various suppliers. An Approved Hardware List is distributed to schools by way of circulars and updates appear on the Fife Education intranet web site. Other Council services must adhere to the same auditing procedures. The larger customer base provides the optimum combination of Best Value in terms of cost, specification and support. The specific requirements of schools are factored into the specifications and Education IT staff work closely with ITS personnel in pre-contract testing and auditing of equipment.
