Software Licences

In late October 2002 the Fife Education Service signed an annual agreement with Microsoft to cover the products listed below. All schools are therefore entitled to install these titles on all their computers.
In nursery, primary and special schools this is being carried out by the networking teams.
All schools will be issued with a master set of CD-ROMS.

Software Discounts

The IT Unit at the Auchterderran Centre is a designated reference centre for a number of software suppliers. Discounts are available if schools send their orders to Jim Birney. An internal transfer is raised to recoup the costs at the discount price. A list of participating companies was included in the August 2001 newsletter and is repeated below.
