Headland at Charelestown, S. Cornwall A typical headland with a cliff face being eroded by the sea. One large cave is carved into the cliff face and further out to sea two stacks are the remnants of the cliff's former position. Just below the cliff is the rocky, fairly level ground known as a wave cut platform.
