Glen Lochay Glen Lochay, looking east from the top of Ben Challum. This valley contrasts with the more fertile and lower lying Strath Fillan. This typical U-shaped valley is almost devoid of cultivated land and the mis-fit stream meanders across the wide valley bottom. The foreground drops away for almost a 1000 feet in a near vertical incline. Isolated shelter belts are the only break in the rough grazing land until, in the distance, the level drops to a few cultivated fields a few miles from Killen and Loch Tay. ..
