Further downstream the Forth continues to meander
towards Kincardine and the widenning Forth estuary, known as the
Firth of Forth beyond the Forth Bridges at North and South Queensferry.
Arable land fills the former marsh land and the middle distance
is dotted with breweries and the far distance has Longannet Power
station in Fife (left) and Grangemouth petrochemicals (right). |
