Glenrothes and the Lomond Hills

Looking north from the top of Bishop Hill, in the Lomond Hills. The far distance lies the snow capped Grampian mountains. The rolling farmland of north Fife is evidence of past glaciation as this is where the ice sheet deposited mounds of bolder clay and sand and gravel from meltwater channels.
West Lomond Hill from the southern plateau just above Glenrothes.
West Lomond Hill looking east from Bishop's Hill - January 2004. The reservoirs on the plateau are only obvious from this height. To the far top right towards the south east and the Forth estuary.

Riverside Park, Glenrothes.
