A simple page holding a title. Discuss with the children why they should select the book symbol from the palette.

Once the book symbol is added to the page and resized as shown convert it to a Super Grouper. This was an activity for the P2 class. The younger, P1 class just had to drag the symbols onto the pre-loaded Book (super grouper).

Next, add the symbols and show captions.

Add Text boxes, enter the page title. Use the Listen feature and edit the font size.

All the tasks have been completed and this child has decided on a rich background colour.

The original title's text colour has been changed to white.

Two different collections of animals occupy each page.

Extension work with older children could be a book on any class topic, for example Space with the addition of a talking voice (Mike in Space or the Robot voice to enhance the discussion).
