Welcome to this new site. Some pages are still being completed as new content will be added throughout August.

The Open Office section looks at those applications which are similar to their Microsoft Office equivalent.

The Other Applications section includes other open source files and freeware programs recommended by Fife education staff.

Open Source - the source code is made available to enable developers to alter and improve the application.

Freeware - the application is used as it is offered. The source code is not released.

The licence associated with individual titles still has to be followed.

All of the titles included in this site are available at no cost. Installation details will be finalised in the August to October term.
