Business Education at Bell Baxter High School offers Accounting at the following levels:
Standard Grade: Foundation, General, Credit
Intermediate 2 and Higher
Accounting provides a range of skills, which are useful for people no matter what their career path. The skills learned in this course are particularly valuable if you are interested in a career in finance or would like to run your own business. If choosing courses in accounting, you should have a liking for numbers, as the work involves calculations and spreadsheet work using a computer.
The courses provide an introduction to procedures in accounting and develop the skills required to prepare a variety of accounting statements.
