Welcome to the Fife Eco Schools Website.

The aim of the site is to give Fife schools information on the international Eco Schools Programme which is designed to encourage whole school action on the environment.

In order to assist with implementing National Priority 4.2 on Citizenship, Schools in Fife are being encouraged to participate with the programme and to make a commitment to improve their environment with a view to being able to sustain any changes they make.

No matter the size, kind or location of the school, working with the Eco Schools Programme can make a difference.

We hope that the Website will also be able to inform schools of a variety of good practice already taking place in local schools in order to help inform and inspire staff, pupils and parents.
