At present in Britain most of the electricity comes from non-renewable sources but this is likely to fall by 2020 when more renewable is available. There is a lot of debate on the figures in the media and in the Scottish and British governments.
In April 2009 the British government announced it was building new nuclear power stations in England and Wales but the Scottish government prefers to expand the renewable sector.
