One of the key elements of the development of Fife's Health and Wellbeing Framework is to proved support to the named School Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator.
Since the dissemination of the Health and Wellbeing Accreditation Framework Phase 3 and the Food Outwith School Lunch Policy the need for this support has become more evident.
Following discussion with senior management and School Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinators it has been decided to offer a twilight session for School Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator across each of the 4 education areas.
The session will be interactive and provide the opportunity to bring staff together from their local area to share practice, establish what individual roles are and demystify the Health Promotion Nutrition Act 2007 by providing practical demonstrations.
It is hoped that by bringing co-ordinators together we can establish local support networks that will prevent staff from feeling isolated and improve the sharing of innovative practice.
Each of the 4 areas has been given an identified date and time that can be found in educations CPD system. Also see attached list.
Catering will be provided at all the sessions
Date and Time:
Please ensure that staff accesses the appropriate date and venue for their cluster area.
Due to the large numbers for Leven & North East Fife we have provided separate sessions. Please be aware of this when booking on education CPD system.
