Adventure and education – pilgrim walks for primary school children.
Bringing history alive.
Step back in time with Forth Pilgrim and discover a world of mystery, scandal, miracles, judgement and grace.
During our three mile adventure in the Fife region we will recreate the life of a pilgrim through storytelling and drama, learning about how our ancestors survived during medieval days.
Forth Pilgrim educational tours offer:
Your pilgrim guides Roger and Eileen Pickering share a passion for walking, education, history and drama. A walking group leader, Roger led a 2200 mile reconciliation walk from Cologne to Istanbul in 1996. He currently works for the Fife Council Museums service. Eileen combines over 16 years primary teaching with Helen O’Grady drama qualifications to deliver an educational experience that inspires and excites school children.
Tours run from March through to October. Various pilgrim routes are offered within the Fife region, many along the stunning coastal path.
A full day tour is priced at £250 per class. Half day tours available. Ask us about a ‘sponsored walk’ pack to help families meet the cost and/or raise funds for the school or a registered charity.
The first ten bookings in 2008 will secure an introductory offer price of £170.00.
Tours are also available for organised groups such as cubs, brownies, and after school clubs, and can be booked for weekends or school holidays.
