In fact SMART offers a considerable number of varied learning and teaching opportunities, especially if students are encouraged to be active learners rather than passive observers of a teacher-led lesson.

Encourage them to come out to the SMARTBoard.

Ask older pupils to make up activities using the Toolkit.

Consider introducing a slate to hand round the room so sturdents (usually older ones) can particiapte from their own comfort zone.

Introduce a visualizer to bring lots of resources to life!

If you have access to hand-held voting sets then you can have instand feedback.

Consider the SMART Classroom Suite.
