Christmas 2007 Notebook files
|
Each SMART Board has a CD ROM software bundle delivered with the Board. Up until now Fife schools have received a CD distributed twice a year (spring and autumn) which has the latest version plus the extensive gallery (over 200 Mb file) and a collection of Notebook files. At present we are considering distributing these applications direct to the desktop by remote file transfer. More information will follow in September. The spring 2007 CD contents are described in a Word document. As the SMART company release Notebook files on a regular basis those files released in between the Fife CD versions can be downloaded from the Fife Education server. In addition, there is a small collection of Notebook files aimed specifically at staff for training and advice, including Hints and Tips. The SMART software may be installed on all the computers in the purchasing establishment and on a teacher's home computer thus notebook files may be viewed, edited or created without being connected to the SMART Board. SMART released a Training CD ROM in spring 2007containing sample files for secondary schools but it also has a very useful selection of short training videos suitable for all Notebook users. Please view the Frequently Asked Questions for more information on Safety Issues and using Smart Notebook. Staff could also refer to the short Smart Safety Notebook file. |
