Coasts: - Physical and Human Activity

This extensive file is shown in Hide mode. Every topic listed has sub topics and each of them has notes attached and usually an image associated with the topic. In addition the five options at the foot of the screen lead the user into a series of interactive exercises created by myself (Spellmaster and Hot Potatoes) and Flash animations from two other geographers Hugh Mothersole, Wycombe High, and Dan Bunker (submitted to TRE) and Dan's coastal lesson plan (a Word document).

Coastal images have been added to the Fife Image Bank provided by Jim Birney, Neil Adam, a TRE moderator and Hugh Mothersole, Geography, Wycombe High School.

Please open the Inspiration file and work through the topics. There are two Inspiration files connected to the Coasts file - they cover Sand Dune and Salt Marsh succession. Once all three files are added to your computer open each in turn, click on the links and edit the hyperlinks so they look for the files on your computer, not on the Fife Education server then save the changes.

If you don't have a copy of Inspiration then you may click to see the links to the sub topics shown above or to the Sand Dune or the Salt Marsh Succesion.
