Four key questions are posed. The children develop their imaginative writing to suit their thoughts.

Introducing the Link tool and allowing the children to convert simple shape objects to relevant picture symbols develops the exercise differently for each child.

There is great scope to switch to the Writing View to really expand the writing into a powerful story line.

The Activity Wizard was used to pre-set the picture library to open with the Stories set, but the children could investigate other pictures to match their ideas, perhaps from the Insert menu. Another option would be to expand on the libraries selected in the Activity Wizard set up before being presented to the class.
