As part of the national training programme – Early Learning Forward Thinking a three-day course has been organised for staff working with children in the pre-five sector who would like to become trainers so that they, in turn, would deliver the training to colleagues in schools and in neighbouring pre-five establishments.

Supply cover will be paid from the Early Years ICT Training budget only if TT1 forms are sent direct to me.

The course will be delivered by full-time Learning and Teaching Scotland staff and will run from Wednesday 5th October until Friday 7th October in the Technology Lab, Auchterderran Centre – times 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Fife team have appointed Lindsay Meldrum, Early Years Officer from Clentry Nursery, on a seconded basis to deliver the training across Fife and he will support existing and new trainers to complete the programme by the end of this current academic year. In addition, Lindsay and the trainers will receive technical assistance from David Imrie, Support Analyst.
