The   Determined to Succeed initiative was launched by the then Scottish Executive in 2003 and is designed to develop pupils' awareness and understanding of 'enterprise' and how this can positively affect their lives.

The Fife Education Service has developed a series of enterprise programmes between schools and local businesses. Notable high profile successes include our Levenmouth partnership development - the Donaldson Leadership Academy which won the Fife Education Business Partnership Award 2010.

Caskieberran Primary School won this year’s Scottish Education Award for Enterprise and Employability for their work with Lomond Homes.

Aligning pupils with the needs of industry is important to us. In excess of 7,000 projects are in operation between businesses and schools. We also have a partnership with all three Fife colleges focussing on the development of skills for work.
