Health and Wellbeing Awards External stakeholders believe that Fife Education is also helping to produce young people who are improving the health and well being of society. 151 schools (83% and an increase of 24 from 2010) had achieved Phase 2 of the Health Promoting Schools Programme and 23 (an increase of 19 from 2010) at Phase 3 accreditation as Health Promoting Schools. We are a sector leading authority in relation to health promotion. Other councils regularly ask for our materials at national Learning Teaching Scotland network meetings and we are recognised for having a HPS framework that translates very readily into the Health and Wellbeing framework within Curriculum for Excellence. |
