Since the training ended in December 2003 new examples of ICT delivered activities have been collected from both Fife teachers and from colleagues in other parts of Scotland. In addition, in the past year or so there have been great strides made in the quality and diversity of websites, the arrival of new software such as Inspiration in Scottish schools (May 2004), the development of interactive software such as Hot Potatoes and the growing number of interactive whiteboards in classrooms. This site is designed to offer two routes into the resources, either by subject or by general resources. The self tutorials are not full training manuals, rather they are extracts covering features which busy teachers wish to understand without needing to follow a course. The site wishes to concentrate on the most commonly used applications in Scottish schools and encourages teachers to use ICT as an interactive way to support their pupils' learning needs. Therefore, please visit the Interactive section. |

Introduction
|
This section of the website aims to raise awareness of the many different ways in ways using ICT in the classroom offers teachers and students many opportunities to make the learning process flexible enough to suit different learning styles and teacher delivery techniques.
The files included here are based on the courses delivered to Fife social subjects during the N.O.F. ICT training programme by Jim Birney as the manager of Fife Education's own training team.
