The Image Bank has been made active with the inclusion of a significant number of images and associated web pages describing the images. Links to exercises using these images is at the planning stage. A collection of PowerPoint files have been added to Modern Studies- provided by Andrew McIntosh and Ian Taylor of Queen Anne H.S., Dunfermline. The Geography Top 5 websites for January is based on the various websites available from NASA. Their Looking at Earth series contains stunning images, information files, lesson plans and animations - all free to use in education. The ICTAdvice section sees the addition of Adobe Acrobat files on research in the use of ICT in primary and secondary and case studies of Useful websites for both primary and secondary Geaography and History. |

A sample set of Spellmaster interactive exercises have been added. They show the potential the application has in Social Subjects. The sample set are based on Carboniferous Limestone in Higher Geography. SpellMaster can now be downloaded and new exercises created relatively easily. | |||

A sample set of SpellMaster exercises for World War 2 added - the entries may be modified to be more specific to a particular feature under study. The Top Five Geography websites have been revamped into topics. Dorling Kindersley have released their extensive clip art collection for "free" educational use. |
