General Information

The in-school Behaviour Support Service is a whole-school resource which aims to provide

appropriate support to allow pupils, as far as possible, to access mainstream education.

Support staff work with identified young people who are finding it difficult to cope with a full-time

mainstream timetable because of social, emotional or behavioural difficulties.  Each pupil

receiving support has an individual programme according to his/her needs.

There is a full-time head of department and one part-time teacher. We also have access to support

from 6 support assistants.

The department comprises one classroom and a base, which as far as possible is staffed

throughout the day, including breaks and lunchtimes.
